Dynamic Wireless's Principal Consultant has close to 20 years of educational wireless design and configuration capabilities, ranging from small remote educational site deployments, to campus-wide high density indoor wireless and outdoor mesh deployments across multiple campuses.

In fact, he was responsible for the first deployment of Cisco wireless access points in Australia, having deployed more than 50 Cisco Aironet 340 Series access points (initially running VxWorks firmware, and then upgraded to IOS later once released), to remote learning centres across Queensland. The deployments included the installation of hundreds of PCMCIA wireless cards in desktop computers, thus allowing many heritage listed buildings to overcome cabling limitations.
 

To-date, we have provided wireless services to six leading Universities across Australia, one international University, two TAFE/Colleges, and several private primary/secondary school.​

 

 Our Educational Wireless Experience Includes:

 

• Surveying and designing high-density wireless coverage for all auditoriums, lecture theatres and seminar rooms for two of the largest leading Australian Universities.

• Surveying and designing wireless coverage for New York University's satellite campus based in Sydney.

• Designing complete campus-wide outdoor mesh coverage, and indoor wireless coverage (200+ Access Points) for an Australian University.

• Designing, deploying and project managing the deployment of over 450 Cisco Access Points across 5 campuses for a major Australian University.

• Passive surveying of existing coverage of 3 campuses for an Australian University, consisting of all rooms/floors/buildings on campus, re-mediating all coverage holes in order to upgrade coverage to a voice-grade threshold for all buildings.

• Ongoing predictive and post-installation wireless surveys for a leading University located in Victoria.

• Performing predictive wireless surveys for new buildings and refurbishments, prior to data outlet and AP installation, for an Australian University.

• Surveying outdoor wireless mesh coverage using Google Earth GPS-calibrated surveying for multiple campuses for an Australian University

• Designing coverage for staff office and student dormitories for a regional Australian Agricultural College. 

• Designing coverage for a leading Australian Flight Training School. 

• Surveying existing wireless coverage for 15+ centres for a private training institution - providing coverage and AP in-filling recommendations.
